The Club’s accommodation is fully renovated, and yet harkens back to the charm of a bygone era. The Club accommodates up to 12 people in a combination of ‘Double’ and ‘Twin Single’ rooms with one room including a spacious private lounge that converts to another double bed.
Facilities
While two of the Boutique Queen Bed rooms have their own ensuite, like all Australian hotels of yesteryear we have opted for shared bathroom and toilet for the others, just a few steps from the bedroom door.
All rooms are equipped with television and air conditioning, clock radio, fans, with three rooms adjoining our lovely Queenslander verandah. Everyone staying with us has access to our laundry and kitchenette, complete with complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
Competitive Room Rates
This traditional accommodation approach has many benefits including highly competitive room rates that are below all local motel room tariffs and not much above onsite caravan park overnight rates. Discounts apply to long stay bookings.
We cater for tourists, travelling workers, construction workers, backpackers and visitors to the Clifton area for polo, steam train, the old time projection theatre and Clifton Races to name a few.
Many patrons travel in from outlying areas for live music performances and enjoying a stay for the night, capping off a great weekend on the Darling Downs.

Room 1: Beautiful wooden posted Queen Bed with sitting area and private ensuite and extra large walk-in-wardrobe.
Room 2: Queen bed and private ensuite with writing desk and access to Verandah to laze and enjoy a cold drink or cuppa.
Room 3: Twin beds with access to verandah to laze and enjoy the views.
Room 4: Two adjoining rooms one with beautiful wooden posted queen bed and WIR and other with sitting area. Both rooms have access to the classic Queenslander verandah to laze and enjoy the views.
Room 5: Double bed with sitting area and built-in-wardrobe.
In-Room Dining
We are pleased to organise in-room dining, or perhaps you need a lunch pack for the next day’s travel. Romantic rose petals on the bed, flowers and a tray of cheese to accompany a bottle of bubbly can be arranged for your special occasion.
